The first flight
Do you remember your first flight?
I certainly do. I was filled with excitement and fear at the same time. I remember sitting in the front row, watching the aircraft closely – making sure everything was in place and working properly, just in case! 🙂
The first take-off in my early twenties, flying into the unknown as I landed in London with no idea what to expect, still feels fresh.
And now, as I sit in Bangkok, waiting for my flight to Malaysia, I reflect on how flying has become smoother with time and experience.
Filtering game
But what fascinates me most isn’t just the flight itself, but the process of getting there – the airport check-in, the security, the boarding pass, the passport control, the right gate.
It’s a filtering game that helps us get to our chosen destination despite all the other flights going to different places.
Thousands of people, from different backgrounds, all passing through the same system but heading toward their own unique path.
Isn't life like that too?
We all have our own built-in guiding system, filtering us toward what we truly desire. Much like at the airport, our emotions act as the check-in process: helping us choose, directing us closer or further away from our dreams.
In the beginning, when we are starting something new – whether it’s a new career, relationship, or adventure – everything feels wide open, uncertain, and maybe even overwhelming. We are checking and double checking everything.
But with each experience, just like with flying, we get better at trusting our navigation system.
We learn to filter what’s not aligned with our goals, pause when necessary, and move forward when the time is right. It’s nature’s miraculous system working for us, guiding us to our next destination without us even realizing it.
Ready to fly?
So the question is: Are you listening to it?
Just as you pick your destination and go through all the checks before boarding a flight, you can also navigate your life journey by tuning into your internal navigation system.
Except in life, the process is simpler, and more intuitive – if you dare to listen.
Ready to fly? Please fasten your seat belt, it’s time to trust your intuition. Your life, your flight!
With love,
MartinaK
